What should the owner of a passenger car do if one of the registration plates of the car is lost?

A vehicle without a number plate, as shown in the picture, is not permitted on the road. According to the provisions of the Road Traffic Act, in the event of loss or destruction of the number plate, the vehicle owner is obliged to submit an application to the transport department for a duplicate. Until a new, legal number plate is received and fitted, driving this vehicle on public roads is prohibited.
