Is turning on the warning lights permissible on the towing car?

Switching on the hazard warning lights in a towing vehicle is prohibited. Using the hazard lights, the switch for which is visible in the picture, makes it impossible to signal a change of direction or lane, which misleads other drivers. According to art. 31 para. 1 pt. 2 of the Road Traffic Act, the towing vehicle must have its dipped headlights on, even in conditions of good visibility.
