Is overtaking allowed at the visible pedestrian crossing?

Overtaking on a pedestrian crossing and immediately before it is strictly prohibited. This rule, specified in Art. 26 para. 3 pt. 1 of the Road Traffic Act, is intended to protect pedestrians who might step onto the carriageway from behind the vehicle being overtaken. This prohibition does not apply to crossings where traffic is directed (e.g., by traffic lights), which is not the case in the situation shown in the video.
