Are you allowed to park on the marked parking areas for disabled people, if your parking ticket expired?

Parking in a space for disabled persons is forbidden if the parking card has expired. An invalid card is treated as if it were not there at all and does not entitle you to use this privilege. According to Art. 8 of the Road Traffic Act, only a valid parking card, placed behind the vehicle's windscreen, authorises parking in the designated space.
