What minimum section of the road ahead of the truck should be lit by properly-adjusted high-beam lights?

In accordance with the regulations concerning the technical conditions of vehicles, main-beam headlights (full beams) are required to illuminate the road for a distance of at least 100 metres ahead of the vehicle in conditions of good air clarity. This requirement applies to all motor vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles, and is intended to provide the driver with sufficient visibility at night, enabling a sufficiently early reaction to situations on the road.
