The driver of a vehicle registered in the territory of the Republic of Poland is obliged to carry and present at the request of a competent authority:

In accordance with applicable regulations, the driver of a vehicle registered in Poland is not required to carry the registration certificate, as this data is verified in the Central Vehicle Register. However, in a situation where this document is retained (e.g., due to the poor technical condition of the vehicle), the issued receipt is the only proof confirming the right to continue using the vehicle temporarily. For this reason, the driver must carry it with them and present it upon request to authorised bodies.
