You have just been overtaken by the vehicle in front of you. Are you allowed to increase your speed immediately after being overtaken?

The regulations prohibit the driver of a vehicle being overtaken from increasing their speed, both during the overtaking manoeuvre and immediately after it. According to Art. 24 para. 6 of the Road Traffic Act, such behaviour is not permitted because it makes it more difficult for the overtaking driver to complete the manoeuvre safely and can lead to dangerous situations.
