Can you overtake in this situation?

According to Art. 26 para. 3 pt. 1 of the Road Traffic Act, it is prohibited to overtake a vehicle at a pedestrian crossing and immediately before it. In the situation shown, you are approaching a marked crossing, therefore the overtaking manoeuvre is not permitted. This prohibition is intended to ensure the safety of pedestrians, who could be hidden from view by the vehicle being overtaken.
