Is it prohibited to overtake cyclists at all intersections?

Regulations prohibit overtaking at an intersection, but this prohibition, in accordance with Art. 24 para. 7 pt. 3 of the Road Traffic Act, applies only to motor vehicles. A bicycle is not a motor vehicle, so it is permissible to overtake it at an intersection. However, this manoeuvre requires exercising special caution and maintaining a safe distance from the cyclist.
