What distance should you maintain when overtaking a motorcyclist?

According to Art. 24 para. 2 of the Road Traffic Act, you must maintain a distance of no less than 1 metre when overtaking a motorcycle. This is crucial for safety, as the gust of air created by the overtaking vehicle can destabilise the motorcyclist. This same requirement applies when overtaking a bicycle, moped, or a column of pedestrians.
