After performing a turn manoeuvre, are you obliged to immediately turn off the indicator?

The direction indicator is used to signal the *intention* to change direction, not the act of performing the manoeuvre. After completing the turn shown in the video, it must be switched off immediately. Leaving the indicator on would mislead other road users as to your actual intentions on the road.
