If are involved in an accident in which persons were killed or injured, are you obliged to leave the scene of the accident, upon arrival of the traffic control services?

In the event of a road traffic accident in which there are fatalities or injured persons, a participant is under an absolute obligation to remain at the scene until the Police have concluded their procedures. The mere arrival of emergency or traffic control services at the scene does not release them from this obligation; one may only leave with the permission of the officer dealing with the incident at the scene.
