While riding a moped, when should you start braking if you intend to go round a sharp bend on the road?

To safely negotiate the sharp bend in the road, visible in the picture, you should adjust your speed on the straight section of road before it. Braking while negotiating the bend, especially with a single-track vehicle, significantly reduces the tyres' grip on the road surface. This can lead to a loss of control over the vehicle and a fall, therefore, the braking manoeuvre should be completed before entering the bend.
