What may be the cause of the need to frequently adjust the tension of the drive chain of the motorcycle?

Rapid acceleration generates large and sudden loads which are transmitted through the drive chain. Such dynamic jerks lead to accelerated wear of its components (pins and bushings), which in effect causes it to 'stretch', i.e., an increase in its slack. As a result, more frequent inspection and adjustment of the chain tension becomes necessary to ensure the safe and proper operation of the drive system.
