Leaving a tractor unattended with raised implements poses a serious safety hazard. In the event of a hydraulic system failure, the heavy agricultural equipment can drop suddenly, creating a danger for bystanders. Before leaving the cab, the driver is required to lower the attached implements to the ground to properly secure the vehicle.
