What factors might limit the tram driver's field of vision?

The driver's cab is a confined space which must provide the driver with maximum visibility. The presence of additional persons in the cab can physically obstruct part of the windscreen or mirrors, which directly restricts the field of vision. Such a situation makes it more difficult to fully observe the surroundings and assess the situation on the road, creating a safety hazard.
