Does a traffic light at a pedestrian crossing absolve you of your responsibility to exercise extra caution?

Traffic lights do not exempt the driver from the obligation to exercise special caution. According to Art. 26 para. 1 of the Road Traffic Act, when approaching a pedestrian crossing, you are obliged to exercise special caution to ensure that you do not pose a threat to the safety of pedestrians, even if you have a green signal.
