Are you obliged to stop the vehicle in this situation?

In the situation shown, you are approaching a tram stop marked on the roadway with horizontal sign P-19 (zigzag line). However, you are not required to stop your vehicle because there is no tram at the stop, and no passengers are boarding or alighting. According to Art. 26 para. 6 of the Road Traffic Act, the obligation to stop only exists to allow pedestrians safe access to a stopped tram or the pavement when the stop is not equipped with a safety island.
