How is it recommended to transport an infant in a passenger car?

A newborn, like any child under 150 cm in height, must be transported in a special safety seat. For infants, rear-facing seats are designed, which is the safest position. If such a seat is placed on the front passenger seat, the airbag must absolutely be deactivated. This obligation stems from Art. 39 para. 3 of the Road Traffic Act.
