How should you ride a moped on a dirt road?

Riding on an unpaved road, which by its nature is uneven and has a loose surface, requires relieving the load on the suspension and increasing stability. Standing up on the footpegs causes the rider's legs to act as an additional shock absorber, allowing for better dampening of shocks. This position also lowers the centre of gravity, making it easier to maintain balance and control over the moped.
