Can you drive a truck whose weight, including the cargo, is higher than the admissible weight along a given section of the road?

As a general rule, operating a vehicle on public roads is prohibited if its weight, including its load, exceeds the permissible limits, in order to protect the road infrastructure and ensure safety. However, the law provides for the possibility of such a vehicle, referred to as a non-standard vehicle, to travel, provided that a special permit is obtained from the appropriate road authority.
