Are you allowed in this situation to overtake the vehicle?

In this situation, you are driving on a straight section of road where there are no vertical signs (e.g. B-25) or horizontal markings (double solid line) prohibiting overtaking. The lane for the opposite direction is clear, which provides adequate visibility and space to perform the manoeuvre safely. According to Art. 24 para. 1 of the Road Traffic Act, under these conditions you have the right to decide to overtake the vehicle in front of you, while maintaining special caution.
