In the visible traffic situation, there are no signs prohibiting a U-turn (e.g., B-23), and the manoeuvre is being performed at a cut-through from a lane designated for turning left. According to § 86 of the Regulation on road signs and signals, a directional arrow for turning left also permits a U-turn. The requirements of Art. 22 of the Road Traffic Act regarding the correct positioning of the vehicle before changing direction have also been met.
